Harris Tweed is hand-spun, hand-woven, and dyed by the crofters and cottars in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The Harris Tweed trademark was registered in 1910. The mark consists of an orb with a Maltese cross on the top of it, and the words Harris Tweed underneath the symbol. Today, genuine Harris Tweed is checked by an inspector from the Harris Tweed Authority before being stamped, by hand, with the orb symbol. This collection of hats made in Canada showcase the sublime colours and texture of the Islands.
